static discharge color band

why the static discharge have a color band on it body, what does it mean?some of it color yellow n green if im not mistaken...n can you show me the picture of lightning strike on aircraft..marking of lightning strike..

Colour band? or the colour of the unit itself?
In the mean time I'll find out from the radio trade LAE.. if I can find one, that is!

Pictures, now that is a simple request that will be hard to comply.. have you search the Internet? Personally I don't have any but, it is exactly what is being described in the relevant literatures...

Lightning Strike!

thanks for your link and i just have a look a real lightning strike mark on our C check aircraft, there have 2 burn mark at the left hand wing beside the aileron..my question is, why it happen? was the area is lot of potential to atrach the lightning strike????
