i have too many question that are playing in my mind. can u state the purpose of all grease that been used on the aircraft and was the compund 5 is the best grease? WHY?

grease 5 the best grease? I don't recall such a statement.
The difference between those grease numbers is the additives that are in them.. some are low temp grease while some are high temp.
You need the manuf. spec. book to dwelve into this. i used to have the book but.. you know lah.. when people borrow, they have no intentions of returning them...

as far as the grease is concerned, grease is clasiffied by the temperature range and the load carrying properties.During my OJT, i noticed two type of grease used at the a/c. There were 22, and 33(havent seen yet grase 5). Grease 22 is normally applied to the high bearing load,high speed and high temperature range.It easily found at the landing gear. For grease 33, it is commonly for general use and corrosion inhibiting which is applied to the flight control. To prevent confusion, these grease are different in color. 22 is easily identified by the amber color while 33 is in green color. Sifu, correct me if i'm wrong.

you are right...grease 22-amber color n grease 33- green, compount 5- looks like brown..
