Airbus Delivery Ferry Flight

So, I'm curious. Y'all have to be there (about)3 weeks prior to delivery date right? What is it that you have to do?

It is not that long! Normal process is around 4 days. Just routine paperwork exercise to get the aircraft registered, C of R. Then after getting the C of A and registered under Transport category (Passenger), bring the aircraft home ler..

No worry AG, it's a valid question.
Normally 3 guys are required for the delivery job. A QAI (Mr. Ng Sing Kee was the one assigned), one AC LAE(Nathan) and one EIR LAE(Rosdi).

The instructor's group, the four of us we just hitching a ride home after a course, also in Toulouse conducted by AIRBUS just for us. Hitching the ride home on our own aircraft is a MAJOR savings in terms of airfares!
Another guy with us the DCA surveyor,En. Adzlim who is responsible for the registration and airworthiness approval of the aircraft. So together with 2 sets of pilots, they're 12 of us on that flight.

lar.....u were just hitching a ride..patutlar. the first time i followed the pre-services check there were less people. so i was wondering why so many people this time.

the final assembly line for the A320 is in Toulouse (TLS).
so all deliveries are from TLS.

i will take it as a compliment ..

why i'm so quiet in class? well, I think because of the type of subject? i tend to ask more on technical subjects, and I try to pay full attention in class. I think if you ask Quah, he'll say I wasn't as quiet in his class.

and also I find that some people do not like it when I talk.

Don't worry. I understand it from your point of view. This is a 'soft' subject, unless you have been exposed and have a lot of experiences then its another story!

this might be slightly off topic but it is still related with the airbus delivery...AHM, when we were assigned to clean the cabin, there were so many boxes of left over item, i had my free lunch inside the cabin with few more guys + girl,(basically its fish la), even had a tray (nicely design and very simple)...since there will be more aircraft delivery, this is just an extra info for those who doesn't know..new aircraft will come with lots of food + goodies..this is not important, but hey..i brought back 1 nice tray..so im sharing with you all..peace :-

Now you know why there's a lot of people storming a delivery aircraft!
